WHEN DO WE USE THIRD CONDITIONAL ?

The THIRD CONDITIONAL works for talking about hypothetical conditional statement describing a situation or event in the past that did not accur as expected, unrealistic situations with the hypothetical results.

IMPORTANT POINTS.

1) The order can be reversed without changing the meaning 

2) The main clause tipically used is WOULD, but other modals can be used like COULD, MIGHT or SHOULD

STRUCTURE.

if+subject+past perfect+,+subject+would have+verb(past pariciple)

EXAMPLES.
