WHEN DO WE USE MIXED CONDITIONALS ?
We use MIXED CONDITIONALS for making combinations of different types of conditionals to express complex situations where the time in the "IF" clause differs from the main clause. It helps us discuss hypothetical scenarios involving past actions and their present consequences.

2)The order can be reversed without changing the meaning

STRUCTURES.
1)If+subject+past perfect (3 conditional)+subject+modal (2 conditional)+base verb
2)If+subject+past simple(2 conditional)+modal+"have"+past participle(3 conditional)

1) If I had taken an aspirin, I wouldn't have a headache now.
2) If I had stayed home, I wouldn't face so many problems now.
3) If I had finished high school, I would be a college student now.
4) I would be a college student now if I had finished high school.
5) If I had slept earlier, I wouldn't have missed my appointment.
6) If I had slept earlier, I would be at my appointment now.
